This website is run frugally: nothing is measured without your consent, and no content is loaded from third-party servers. Below is what we process, why, and how you stay in control.

Visiting the website

The site is delivered by Netlify Inc. (San Francisco, USA) from servers in Europe. When you visit, Netlify processes technically necessary connection data: IP address, time, the address requested, browser type and the amount of data transferred. This is required to deliver the site at all and rests on our legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The logs serve operations and defence against attacks.

We have a data processing agreement with Netlify. Transfers to the USA rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

The Outfit typeface is served from our own server. No request goes to Google.

For the newsletter we process your email address, first and last name and the language you chose. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Sign-up uses double opt-in: after submitting, you receive an email with a confirmation link. Only then are you on the list. If you don't confirm, the entry is discarded shortly after.

Sending and list management run through Mailchimp, a service of Intuit Inc. (Atlanta, USA). Mailchimp processes the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement; transfers to the USA rely on the standard contractual clauses. Mailchimp also records whether an email was opened and whether links in it were clicked.

You can unsubscribe at any time, via the link in every email or informally at hallo@women-rise.at. After unsubscribing, your address stays on a suppression list so we don't write to you again by mistake.

To prevent automated sign-ups, Cloudflare Turnstile checks the form. This transmits your IP address and technical browser details to Cloudflare. Turnstile sets no advertising cookies and builds no profile. The basis is our legitimate interest in a form free of abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Analytics with Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to understand which content gets read. Measurement starts only once you agree in the banner. Before you agree, no Google script is loaded and no request goes to Google.

With your consent, cookies are set (among them `_ga`) that recognise your visit pseudonymously. Recorded are, for example, pages viewed, time spent, approximate location at city level, device type and where the visit came from. Google truncates the IP address. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 165(3) Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021).

We store your decision in our own cookie named `rise_consent`, which lasts twelve months. You can change it at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer. On withdrawal we delete the Google cookies immediately and measurement stops.

Tickets

Ticket purchase does not happen on this website. The button forwards you to our ticketing provider's shop, where their privacy terms apply. We receive no payment data.

Contact by email

If you write to us, we process your details in order to answer (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We keep the correspondence as long as it is needed for handling your request and any follow-up questions.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. Write to hallo@women-rise.at.

If you believe we process your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority: Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, dsb.gv.at.

No automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.
